Welcome to the Dragonflies of Montgomeryshire website. This is the home of the dragonfly recording pages which detail the annual records of observed dragonflies and damselflies across the county. The website will also introduce you to the resident species which can be seen and help you to find suitable locations where you can easily observe and photograph these colourful and exciting insects. Montgomeryshire is rich in dragonfly habitats which include rivers, canals, ponds, lakes, numerous nature reserves, larger wetland areas and even upland bogs.
